• Provides aircraft and aircrew for airlift of the President, immediate members of his/her family, visiting Heads  of State, and other local and foreign VVIPs

• Conducts proficiency  training of aircrew and support personnel

• Operates and maintains common aviation assets of Government Financial Institutions (GFIs)

 

• Performs organizational, field and limited depot level maintenance

​

• Coordinates with agencies for field and depot level maintenance of aircraft

 

• Performs liaison or coordination of aircraft  requirements for Presidential Flights

​

• Provides command, control  and communication in advance  base operations 

​

• Provides Presidential security augmentation

​

• Assigns flight safety and technical officers for VVIP movement locally and abroad

 

• Performs other functions as directed higher headquarters
